What does a new business in South Africa need to get going?

Is Zealo free for a new business?
Yes. The Basic plan is free and includes a free Marketplace listing, quotes and invoices, getting paid online, CRM and projects. Paid plans start at R139 a month, excl. VAT, for when you need more.
How much is a business email address and a website?
Zealo Online is R39 a month, excl. VAT, for 5 email addresses on your own domain and a website. Zealo Online Pro is R99 a month for 20 addresses and a bigger website. Starter, Growth and Business: add it for R39 a month.
Can I get a .co.za domain through Zealo?
Yes. Search for a name and register it in Zealo from R150 for the first year, excl. VAT. The yearly renewal of a .co.za is part of your Zealo Online price. A domain you already own costs nothing extra, or you can start with a free yourbusiness.zealo.co address.
Can Zealo design my logo?
Yes. With Zealo Online you describe your business and the AI designs logo options for you. Your first 3 tries are free, and you can always upload a logo you already have.
Do I need to be an accountant to use Zealo?
No. Zealo is written for business owners, not accountants. You send invoices and record what you spend, and the books are kept for you in the background. At year-end, annual financial statements are built from those books on Starter and up, and you can invite your accountant at no extra cost because users are unlimited.
Can I run payroll for my first employee?
